Poverty does not define a person or a country. We celebrate Jamaica’s strengths while recognising that children and families can benefit from thoughtful support.
Children deserve opportunity—and joy.
UNICEF Jamaica’s social policy work focuses on reducing child poverty and strengthening support for families. Access to education, health care and social protection matters far beyond the Christmas season.
A toy drive has a smaller, personal role: creating a moment of happiness and helping children feel remembered. It complements, rather than replaces, the longer-term work needed to improve living conditions.
